*mwah* to you all.

I heart Fetch.

I've just spent nearly half an hour trawling through Fetch on the verge of tears trying to find out how to fix my dead Garmin and I found the answer here!! It works again - Hurrah!!!!

If your Garmin looks like its totally dead and won't connect or switch on or anything press Mode & Reset at the same time, then press the on button - Bingo
:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Battlecat .... right it down and put somewhere you can always access it , I mean always!!!

I happened to me the morning before running FLM, I was already in greenwich, so no way to access fetch. Luckily I knew there was a magical combination but couldn't remember it, so I had to faf with all the buttons for 10 mins before i sorted it out!! phew!!!!

Guys your help would be appreciated,
I have an oregan se 300 hrm and distance and am very unhappy with it ( mileage is always a least 10-15% out if its to be believed I should have been in Beyjing with the times I am posting-if only plus the hrm shows be either clinacally dead or heart rate at horror film levels).
So I want to buy a new one would you reccomend the garmin 305 and is it accurate.

Thanks

Garmin 305 is lovely. I love mine. In fact my OH thinks I'm having an affair with it. Cos I spend hours on a Sunday shacked up, analysing the hours and minutes we have spent together in the days before. Sorry, xpost with the verbose thread.

yeah, 305 great. 405 a bit more expensive but smaller in size. Horses for courses. All garmin's accurate (to a few %) except elevation. But that is correctable with fabby add on software like Sport Tracks etc.

Is it possible to add a footpod to the 305 as a backup to losing signal on runs?
