Sep 2008 1:29pm, 8 Sep 2008 16 posts	Hello people. I've got a weird problem with my forerunner 205. I charge it until it says it's battery charging is complete but when I start to use it it claims to only have 2 bars of battery (of four). It quickly changes to one bar and bleats about the battery being about to run out but then keeps working without complaint for aaaaages (about three hours last night). I assume this is some sort of battery calibration problem where it just thinks it's empty but is really fine but I can't find anything on the web about this. Google has failed me and the manuals are in the loft. Can the fetch massive shed any light? Thanks in advance. --Twirlip
Sep 2008 1:47pm, 8 Sep 2008 14,997 posts	Could also be a dodgy battery. Try resetting it and if problem persists I suspect yuoo may have to send it back for replacement.
flanker Sep 2008 4:19pm, 8 Sep 2008 8,793 posts	flanker sounds like a duff battery to me. Try resetting it, running it flat and then leaving it on charge for several hours after it reports being full. You usually have about 3 hours grace after it reports the battery as being low.
