Thanks to larkim for the Curve tip. Nice to have 'money' on me at all times now even though I've only got my watch and my keys. I agree. I didn't expect to use it so much, but I haven't been out with a card or cash for ages. It is handy for buying one or two items of grocery, a banana and a cafe latte at the end of a run in town

The bleeps on mine, e.g. for autolaps or for counting in a new workout phase, are practically inaudible. Possible the “speaker” is just clogged with sweat, sun cream, etc., but I can’t see where that is or whether it’s cleanable.
