SPR Oct 2022 8:25pm, 8 Oct 2022 38,453 posts	SPR For my basketball session today, I created another activity using walk to keep things separate from running which meant the pod worked from what I can see. Cadence wasn't picked up it seemed but changing the activity to run meant it showed up so it is picked up, just not shown. Basically I need to create an activity that works like run but is separate from running but that doesn't seem to be possible...

It has Basketball as an activity type and you can add cadence, pace and distance and they work fine with the footpod (would interesting if it also picked up Running Dynamics as could get stuff like max 'vertical oscillation' AKA jump height from it. Surprised I can't get this to work natively. Also Garmin Connect still won't show certain data based on activity type.
