YouTube-dl can download podcasts as audio files without that hassle. Still probably not for the technically fainthearted, but nor is audacity

I don't get ads on spotify as I pay for premium Offline on my phone it all works fine, so the tracks get pre-inserted. It's only when I used the direct Spotify "app" on the watch that the music doesn't get included. I know I could create a MP3 of the stuff and transfer it over, but the use case is "it's 3 minutes before I'm going out for a run, maybe tonight I'll do music for a change, can I press two buttons on my watch to get the latest Running Hour podcast sync'd to my watch". I suspect given that the way it is created (called "Music & talk" in Spotify language) simply isn't coded for in the Spotify "app" on the watch. I can (and do) use other podcatchers etc, but still wouldn't work for these ones as they are very much Spotify only (given they access the Spotify library of music by design). Normal podcasts are not an issue. |

My Fenix 7s set itself to 12 hour clock this afternoon. I was quite discombobulated. I don't remember seeing it do a software update or anything.

I had an Edge (cycle computer) that would do that every other ride. Annoying.

I have an old Garmin 230 that refuses to connect to GPS. Have left it on the and it doesn't even look like it's improving in terms of getting a better signal. Any ideas? It has been off for awhile but now fully up to date. Deleted the EPO file just in case that would help but no joy.

The 12h vs 24h is usually a disconnect between the watch setting and the Garmin Connect setting. Make sure they are both set to the same thing.

Thanks for that chunkywizard I had similarly been getting vexed by my 235 keep reverting to 12 hour format despite me repeatedly changing it to 24 hour. Went onto Garmin Connect, changed that to 24 hour as well and now the 235 is showing 24 hour format. I hope that lasts. |

Also check Garmin Connect Web as well as Garmin Connect app as it used to be those could get out of sync. As you say, it might be something else as well!!

Mind you, when I changed Garmin Connect, GC wanted to install an Emergency Update for a Time Zone Map on the 235 so I don't know if that had anything to do with it, although my 245 wants to install the same Emergency Update.
