I think suunto have a mode where it locks continuously but only computes position every 5 seconds, which saves not all that much power because keeping the satellite locks is a large chunk of it. Ultratrac is completely useless if you are using navigation... constantly telling you that you are off course.

The other day I just did a 5-mile recovery run but forgot the HR strap and so the HR came from the wrist sensor. I was wondering if there is any way in Garmin Connect (or elsewhere) to distinguish activities that are using the HR strap from those that are using the wrist sensor?
