this might be bollocks, but I suspect Garmin Connect might be temporarily down. I can't log onto it. So it could just be a temp problem.

That wouldn't affect me downloading the app to my phone though? Play store says 'not supported' for your device, which is odd given its a new phone. |

It's a Nokia c01. According to that link from Rosehip, I'm not sure if it'll work because it has android 12 (go edition). Which is a bit stupid really - if you design a watch that'll only download via a phone, it needs to work on all phones.... I ain't buying a new phone! Sadly the only tablet I have is a work device. If it'll talk via my old ANT+ stick to the PC, that would work for now. |

It will work with your PC using the usb cable and Garmin Express on the PC. It won’t work with the ANT+ stick, they dropped that when they went to wireless comms with BT and WiFi. It supports ANT+ only for accessories like the heart rate monitor.

Android Go 12 is the problem really. It's supposed to be lighter which means phones don't need as high a spec AIUI, but that means apps need to be redesigned and might not work if Android Go phones are missing hardware they need (not looked into it much)

As Badger says though, it will work with Connect on a PC.

You might also be able to use a site like apkmirror apkmirror.com to install Connect on the Go android devices. A mild faff but you'll get the most out of the watch if you've got it Bluetooth paired with a phone.
