Badger Jan 2021 5:43pm, 16 Jan 2021 13,402 posts	Badger I had a Nike Tailwind, big accelerometer based foot pod with an lcd display, before I bought my first Garmin. Not very convenient for checking your distance along the way but not bad for recording it afterwards.
Sigh Jan 2021 6:11pm, 16 Jan 2021 8,312 posts	Sigh Just for fun I've been on to track the routes I used to run in 1984 (aged 16). The midweek route I ran with Steve was an out & back of 4.1km, and my "long route" I did on my own (every couple of months!) was a whopping 4.86km!

fetcheveryone Jan 2021 8:17am, 21 Jan 2021 25,509 posts	fetcheveryone There was an overnight operating system upgrade for the server, which might have meant it was down or busy at the point where Garmin tried to send your data across. If Garmin got rebuffed, it will try again six hours after the initial attempt.
