No idea Larkim. I'll have to check. Regarding linking the RA VO2 max to Garmin. I certainly don't, although there are some trends (so for me my VO2 max will go up on progressive runs normally on the Garmin and that's where I record my highest via RA). However RA can't deal with intervals (always my lowest number and I exclude them for calcs) because it uses the whole run to assess VO2 max, whereas Garmin can and can also can use part of a run to assess VO2 max (presumably if the last 10 mins of your run indicates a higher Vo2 max than the first 20 for example, it would use the higher number). The Garmin calc is definitely more complicated. |

Just checked, no I don't have a public page. Seems it either everyone can see your stuff or nobody on RA?

You can have a page that shows summaries - basically what you see in the activity list in the dashboard view - but no maps and nobody can see any location details. Tap the head icon in top right of the web page, public athlete page, set it up there. |

Mine runalyze.com which I don’t feel quite shows the pattern larkim describes. Different watch of course. |

Thanks Badger. From seeing your page, I under stand better how it works. I'm pretty sure any watch that shows the VO2 max at the end of the run is for that run (or where it thinks you are at that point as it's possible that it restricts jumps based on previous performances). Possible that Larkim's is different given it never showed it after a run but it's an odd set up to have when all the calcs are done by the watch. |

There’s certainly some history feeding in, as the jumps are much smaller than in the RA values calculated from each individual run.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the delay issue was only related to my watch.

From my 1500 yesterday (and 3000 the weekend before) the 10 min constraint no longer applies. This also suggests that the constraint is now less than 5 mins. The sub 70% constraint still exists as if I keep a run fully under that, I get no change. The question now is how much needs to be over 70% and the answer may be less than 5 mins. My page (still need to edit specific runs from this week): runalyze.com |

Is there an auto way to set zones by percentage on Runalyze? Presume I have to change HR back to being displayed by %age first?

My run on 3 Sept where there was no re-calc only had 2:56 above 70%. 14 Aug, no re-calc, 3:33 above 70%. 20 Aug (warm down run after sprints of only 5:36!), re-calc, 4:54 above 70% 1500 yesterday, re-calc, 4:01 above 70% (optical lies, lol). Suggests the answer is 4 mins above 70%. |
