Hi Guys, I’m using a 735 with a chest strap that came with my previous Garmin (910xt). On my recovery run today it was consistently giving suspiciously high HE readings (apparently I achieved a new max HR of 195 whilst gently trundling along). I had a similar issue during a general aerobic run yesterday. Has anybody experienced anything similar and are there any thoughts on the probable cause/solution? Thanks in advance.

Is the strap well used - needing new battery maybe ??

And do you give the strap a good soaking before you put it on?

Straps wear out as well. The Garmin HR Dual is a good replacement.

Hi guys, yes to both. It’s pretty well used so maybe the battery needs changing. I do make sure I give it a good soak though. Thanks for the responses, I’ll see if a new battery has any effect

Missed your response ChunkyWizard. I’ll check the dual out too. I have had the current strap for a good few years

13 miles today. HR back where I’d expect so looks like a dodgy contact yesterday. I’ve got a new battery on the way just in case. Thanks for your input.

Hello. I can't upload training from my watch. Hoping someone might have some ideas how to fix this.
My daughter dropped my laptop and broke the ANT+ stick for my Garmin 310XT. I ordered and received a new one.

Garmin Express recognises the watch and the ANT, although no longer on the original computer, since I de-installed and re-installed Garmin Express as part of my cunning plan.

On the other computer, it looks like it is syncing, and the waves of blue shoot across the sync screen, but it never gets to data transfer message on watch and the steady blue creep across the screen as the bar fills with blue from the left to right. and then it stops with the error message, could not connect to Garmin Connect....I am not sure that my Garmin Connect account looks quite right.....

I have tried turning everything off. I have cleared the caches from both computers. I have gone through the watch screens to put the watch in pairing mode. I have tried different USB ports. I have cleared all the history from the watch, except for my last run, where I got all the bugs. I have not done a factory reset on the watch.

I would be glad of any advice please. Thx

Can you login to your connect account Wazelle?

Anyway the reason I came here was a speed/cadence sensor issue - It keeps dropping out during sessions. Do they wear out? It's recently had a new battery, and is less droppy than before... Any suggestions for a replacement, I've seen a few for around half the cost of a new Garmin one, any experience/preference for third party alternatives?
