PeterVincent Apr 2013 12:26pm, 30 Apr 2013 91 posts	PeterVincent Hi, I am over striding and it was suggested to me that I investigate getting a foot pod to measure cadence and to try to run with a faster cadence. I have a Garmin 305 and I would like to use a pod with this. Can the foot pod be used at the same time as the GPS? Has anyone any experience with one of these that they would like to share?

Badger Apr 2013 10:16pm, 30 Apr 2013 3,690 posts	Badger PV, best I remember you can use the footpod for cadence and GPS for everything else. Some of the newer ones will failover to the footpod for pace if they lose the GPS completely, but not the 305, you have to decide which you want when it detects the footpod.

Downloaded plugin (the one directed to from this site and from run saturday). Won;t work. Rebooted. Won't work. Redownloaded, won;t work. Bah!

Marts Jun 2013 11:12am, 17 Jun 2013 3,852 posts	Marts Tripped over last week and now the screen (not cracked) won't display. It still records, charges and downloads properly and beep every mile as before on autolap. Am assuming the screen is FUBAR and so have a quandry over £58 for a 'refurb' with 90 day warranty (although we all know they are new units really), £170 for discontinued £200 for a 610, £240 for a 910 or £300 for a suunto ambit. Any suggestions?
