When I plug it into the computer, the computer shuts down and when it reboots says it needs to repair itself which takes ages. Anyone else had this problem? I'm afraid to plug it in now - so it'll never get charged!!!

I have to make sure nothing else is using the internet upload to my garmin training log on computer. then close that then go to internet and then upload. I did down load new update which decreased the frequency of the blue screen error but the main thing seems to be not having other active web sites on the go. I have windows 7.

Choccy Apr 2012 9:37am, 13 Apr 2012 12 posts	Choccy I've been getting the blue screen recently too -it happens very sporadically, but it is really annoying when it does. I hadn't noticed that I had the internet open when it happens, so very useful info there - thanks lak. Also pleased it's not just me as I was imagining, with some horror, the expense of a new computer!
Badger Apr 2012 9:58am, 13 Apr 2012 3,285 posts	Badger Blue screen problem with Windows 7 is very common. Garmin have been getting flak on their forums about it for ages and are working on a fix at the moment.

BrianJ May 2012 4:42pm, 1 May 2012 1,047 posts	BrianJ My trusty 305 isn't locking onto satellites anymore. Anyone had this problem? Might be something to do with the drenching it got at the race on Sunday....
