the easier way might be to use the fetch route planner (effectively the same as gmap) which I think generates the TCX file directly Or I think mapmyrun can now download the route directly into the 305 withtou going via TC. |

I use bikeroutetoaster.com - it is great for rides and works will for runs as well - it is very streamlined and I find it far easier to use compared to mapmyrun

Who has used the analysis tab that Fetch has added to 'training'? (or am I blind and it was there all the time). I think its all there on Fetch now - I hardly look at Training Centre.

Yes; you can display it in one of the main display fields. I use four fields: time, distance, lap pace, heart rate

Can I make my Garmin work successfully with Garmin Training Center on my mac? (Did I ask this before ?? Must check) If I create workouts in GTC on my Mac they don't transfer to my Garmin. I could use my work PC instead but thought I'd check first whether anyone here has overcome this problem. |

Can anyone give me idiot-proof instructions on how to capture the elevation graph from my 305 in a format that can then be posted/pasted in a blog? I use Training Centre. Tnx

Hmm..there doesn't seem to be a 'print screen' button available in the toolbar, also there doesn't seem to be a way of getting rid of the History, Calendar & Map/Totals/Notes windows
