He'd be a lot less popular with my compatriots if they remembered he was a bloody Norman. Robert de Brus. Irn Bru is named after him. Not a lot of people know that.

Has to be Bruce Banner, the closing scenes of every episode of the TV series where he walked away into the distance, alone and friendless, with the music welling in the background still brings a tear to my eye. Real people just can't compete.

I thought he was called David Banner in the TV series. I wonder where I got that from? I also wonder (now) whether Lou Ferrigno was really green. I rather hope he was.

He was called dr david banner in the TV series (not sure about the films) but defo Bruce in Marvel comics (goes off to google just in case I am going mad with doubt)
