Thanks Mr fetch and all the Elves and the vote of confidence for my grovelling blog for free daps HappyG(rrr) oh boy well chuffed. Yesterday was a bit of a damp squib here, and I said I would always road run on a Sunday but because of no waterproof trainers or shirt or leggings come to that, I cheated and went to the gym. I ran my planned 12 miles and I worked it hard. 2 miles flat, then 2 at 3%, 6%, 9% and 12% oh boy did I sweat. The last 2 miles I split into 1/2 miles of 9%, 6%, 3% and flat with a final 5 minutes cool down. I live in South Lincolnshire and we have no hills here, so this training was an experience I think I'll have to try again!!! Up to now I've not taken any drink on a run and I did yesterday so I learnt how to drink and run too!!! So now I need a waterproof top and leggings and I'll be all cosy and dry when I train, well apart from sweating anyway. Will blog soon, and thanks for reading, if you did! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY
