'Fraid I won't be coming for this after all. It's just a bit too far (165 miles x 2 and 60 quid of petrol?!) but I'll be giving you all virtual shouts from my arm chair (or from Livingston XC which I really ought to do as it's on my doorstep and ought to turn out for club! Another time...! :-)G

That's a shame :-)G, but I totally understand. I always calculate how much the deisel will cost when we go for races and that would put me off doing a half, that's for sure. It's also good to do local races :-)

Our club are very good at organising car-sharing for most events so we bring the cost down a bit :-)

Maz- I would take it easier this weekend. I did 13 miles last Saturday and will do parkrun this Saturday. I wouldn't do more than 6 miles if I was you

RWR - don't know about places for a proper dinner. We've always stuffed our faces with the lovely food they lay on after the race then head home

Have fun at Clova :-)G! Keith, Neil, & Margaret from my club will be there so say hello (I presume they will be in club colours). I will be running D33. shanksi is the only entrant so far if you look at the website; he has got number 40 as it will be his 40th birthday that day!
