2012 was far from our worse tournament effort. 2010 and 2014 WC’s significantly worse.

Tough group with France, Ukraine, Sweden - not bad to advance with 2 wins and a draw. I’d take that this from this group.

Outplayed and lost on pens to Italy in the qtr’s but that was around par for us at the time. Not great by any stretch, but far deeper depths have been plumbed!

To be fair to Fenners though I only like having Wales and Scotland in if they are comprehensively beaten.
