Bad Chris! Distance not really an issue but I love in Bristol. Dates fixed due to teaching commitments. Is Birmingham falt then? Looked at the profile and it seemed to have a few inclines...although I did not check the scale!!

Heard there was one hill around the 10 mile mark but the rest flat. Not entirely sure though, every Half I've looked at entered has at least the odd hill, just due to the miles needed for the course distance.

Cheers! Shame I can't make Bristol - despite the town being full of hills the race itself is almost flat (there is a little incline towards halfway but not really noticeable)

Seconding Girlie's suggestion - GER in P'boro is flat, well organised and well supported :)

Looks good to me but hubby is not keen on that one - not easy to get to from here, despite the fact I'll be working over that way for a few weekends the month before!

Fetish half marathon - visions of runners garbed out in PVC or leather :-)

Birmingham's got a couple of steep bits. Apparently the last mile or so is all uphill - i'll find out for definite when I run it later this year! As far as I'm aware there's still spaces.
