Found it - I got it from Alex at a Cambridge mile several yonks ago.

125g salted butter
3tbsp golden syrup
250g porridge oats
125g dark muscovado sugar
70g white chocolate drops
20g fruit bowl raspberry fruit flakes (available fro Tescos baking section)
25 cm x 18 cm non-stick tin, lightly buttered

Heat a fan assisted oven to 160 degrees C (180 degrees C for non-fan)
Melt the butter with the golden syrup
Mix the oats with the dark muscovado sugar and break up any lumps in the sugar
Add the white chocolate and the raspberry to the oats and sugar
Pour the butter / syrup over the oats mix and stir through until all the oats are wetted
Press the mix into the tin and score into 16 pieces
Cook for 15 min (or until just starting to brown)
Allow to cool before cutting up
