Star x
hiya - well I have done my first marathon EVER!! 5hrs 33 mins at Lochaber.

hot day and a lonely route - so maybe not the best choice for a first marathon as maybe others round about me could have kept me going - however it was a lovely weekend and am chuffed to bits :-)

how did everyone else get on with theirs!

Well done Star :-)
I too did my first marathon, in London-5:46. It was very hot and I was just glad to get round. Won't be doing any more thank you very much :-)

Well done folks. London for me too, 4:58. A long way behind what I wanted, but I got round in the heat and it's a good marker for next time.

Good time Grid in that heat. I was 5.29.20 - something to beat next time!

Is the heat hotter at London too compared to the shorter marathons in cooler places? ;-)

Seriously well done John.... fab running and I hope the legs are OK. A short recovery run tomorrow or Thursday will really help the soreness fade away quicker if you can manage it.
