I'm doing my first in May - the Shakespeare - and am planning to use the cool running beginners plan coolrunning.com after seeing a few recomendations for it on here.

I'm torn between just getting round or trying for a respectable (for me) time - aroung 4 hours would be good. I'm planning to do Chester later in the year too if the first one goes okay.

Hello. Brighton for me. I don't have a plan just at the minute :-)

Monopoly run sounds good.

*grins* I was in the same boat as you guys this time last year. You all realise you have absolutly no idea of the world of pain you've opened yourselves up for, right?

Long runs - lots of 'em. Don't skimp on the 20-milers.
