Fireworks which are the devil's work because I'm old and grumpy watch - Do you have etc etc..........

They (owners that is) are either too stupid or too lazy to keep them indoors on bonfire night and I hate hearing how distressed they get.

And I've just seen half my school traipsing into a local-to-them pub for a bonfire party which means they will be tired, falling out and 'feeling sick' tomorrow - those that turn up, that is.

And with stores now selling their remaining stock at discount prices, I expect there will be another fortnight of them. Fortunately my current dog ignores them, but my previous dog used to jump and bark to frighten them away and if you tried to stop him you were likely to lose a finger or two!
