I wish I could get 20-50,000 points for a 4 - 5 mile run! Last month I did a 3 or 4 mile run in my circle and got a grand total of 700 points or so from coins. And lost about the same in traffic light penalties. Outside my circle I can do a bit better (and I know some places where coins congregate), but it's still a fair way off that sort of number.

Well yes, but that wouldn't be playing fair would it
Wonder whether my cycle home will get me any goreillas. I got three on my 10 mile run last night and I think I might have picked one up on my way to work this morning too. There's one that looks gettable if I go on a bit of a detour...

YP - not sure why you have got so few coins. I know there are 3 players with more or less overlapping circles near me so we get more coins (and bugs) because of that, mind you we each pick up the coins as well - I go out early doors so I get first dibs each day! Is it just at the start of the month you get so few. When I moved my homecircle when on holiday it was really sparse and I hardly collected any coins for the first few days.

Sorry - the last post was from me, but realised I had responded whilst my wife had logged in on her username!

I like the bugs because they provide the scaffolding for my runs around town in the winter months

Thanks fetch point.... the dogs have gone to their grannies for their holidays and I dragged myself out for a run (felt very strange) without them, but I had a goreilla in reaching distance and plotted a coin collecting route last night.

While I've stopped running in the places I REALLY don't like going - main roads mainly as I was trying not to breath too deep when the lorries & buses went passed and that didn't really end well - I still do routes I wouldn't otherwise do cos I'm playing this game.
