I believe I planted 3 or 4 and ran over 4 or 5 which were previously there having been planted by me over the past couple of days. The pre-existing ones have now disappeared from the map. No big deal in the grand scheme of things but perhaps another couple of wrinkles in the code needing looked at. All part of the testing/development process. Choccy - I asked about the lifespan about flowers the other day (don't blame you for not looking back). Fetch's response was to accept that things could get messy in future but, for now, he intends to leave them with an unlimited lifespan and see how it goes - that seems, to me, a reasonable position for him to take; lets get them working properly and establish the scale of any problem before we look to fix it.
