And there are more coins than there used to be, especially since flowers were introduced. So it's pretty uneconomical for me to squish bugs. I only lose about 1,000 points per day in bug penalties but it only takes 3 or 4 coins to make up for these penalties. Long story short: chase coins not bugs.
