R4R - hope you get well soon - and not just because I have spotted that you run in the same town as my parents' house giving me coins to collect when I visit them
CStar - careful with that 'don't start recording until the end of the road to avoid rent' tactic. I did that last month and felt really pleased with myself until I turned the map coin layer on and discovered that avoiding a 100 point penalty had caused me to miss about 1200 points from coins.
I'm also relieved to see that its not just me who does laps of supermarket carparks to collect extra points adjacent to normal routes.

CA - you must let me know when you are next in the area.
Not to meet up - just so I can refresh some rent markers before you arrive

R4R - thank you for that kind offer
It's usually at weekends that I'm down that way so the rent markers shouldn't affect me - and if you're not running then me picking off the 'expired' ones and leaving them for you to pay me rent (as I tried to do at Christmas but mistimed things by no more than about half an hour - you uploaded data to refresh two markers I'd targeted while I was out) won't work either. As I said earlier - it's more important that you get yourself fixed than it is for either of us to pay the other any virtual rent.

I paid at least 45 lots of rent in five miles in London yesterday, but by choosing to run half the distance on side streets, seem to have picked up 20k in points overall.

Hippo - I thnik it depends on how many bugs there are around. Being the only player with home set where I live means that I only get 2 extra a day and at the moment have 8 that are all out in the fields costing me very little. I looked at an area of MK though and was shocked by how many there were!
I shall be using the bugs to motivate myself today as once moved from the fields they will provide the structure for my run, making sure I take in high coins areas as well

Any bug within a mile of your home point will incur a penalty - the overwhelming majority are 'owned' by the system. I think people can buy them but can't honestly see a reason why anybody would want to.
