I dont mind running past the bottom of the cemetery - but its a fairly busy one with people down visiting all the time - I think my thumping past whilst they are reflecting wouldnt be very nice.

My home zone is full of inaccessible places, including a river (and the inaccessible other side of it), a reservoir and a golf course Bugs continually pop up in all these places (one today is right in the middle of the reservoir).
Short of taking up open water swimming/canoeing/golf, there's not much I can do about those bugs other than keep reporting them!

I'm quite lucky with my mile circle. There's only a couple of places that I can't get at, most of the inaccessible bits are small enough that the 80m radius comes out into an accessible bit.
I have waved my garmin through a locked park gate to get a bug once though

What happens if I start running a few miles from my home zone, then run home through a herd of bugs that I've previously left outside my zone? Would they get squished? Or would I have to pick them up and then turn round and run a mile away from home?

I think they'd go to the point of your run which is furthest away from home. When I cycle home from work any bugs I pick up are dumped/squished near work.*
*except that I may be changing my home zone to work for February so the opposite would apply. Not as many players there means not as many bugs, and when I run at home (it's about 50/50) I can just collect other people's coins.

they'll be squished SallyKate. It doesn't matter which way you run. I often start off going outside the circle, that way I can decide just how many bugs to get as I go! Seems wrong but it works.
