oh sherpa i'm dead jealous! i wasn't going to run today (bit of a niggle going on) but for the first time since they appeared i had 2 checkpoints that were accessible and on my route, and they were on the same road which is pretty straight but i still only managed 119% efficiency

I managed about 7000 points in 4 miles earlier Admittedly I haven't run outside much this week because of the wind so markers had started building up impressively, but that's probably my best return to date.
I've also plotted out a route for my cycle home from work which should squish another 10 bugs.

I'd guess the closer two checkpoint are together the more scope there is for the calculation to come up with a big number. I wonder if it there is a possibility of an infinitely efficient route.

And what is the record for the least efficient route?

Bensey: been doing exactly that off and on, works very nicely.

Bensey - are you having to have 2 browsers open to (a) look at the Fetchpoint map and (b) plot the route in the Routes section before transferring it to the Garmin? I've used route downloads for a couple of races very effectively but if I'm honest by the time I've worked out a Fetchpoint route in my head and then gone over it again I am fine memory wise (despite my advancing years).
I got 3 bugs this morning. Thought it was just the 2 but luckily spotted the 3rd one lurking near his mate. I have had repeat bugs in the same general area but not really close enough to say they are in the same place.

USB I am doing the same with 2 browsers then writing it down and exactly that; I don't need to read it again because by then I've memorised it. Is this only a game then?
