I'm confused by the checkpoint scoring :-S On tonights run I went through 4 checkpoints. A-B were very close together (red circles almost touching) and I ran close to a straight line between them. B-C were a long way apart and I ran a very inefficient route between them. C-D were very close together and I ran a dead straight line between them.
I expected a good score on A-B & C-D due to the very straight route and a very poor score between B-C due to a meandering route (to collect other coins and bugs) but I got 138%, 26% and 33%
Do the checkpoints score A-B, A-C, A-D instead of my thinking of A-B, B-C, C-D?
Love this game though as its got me running longer, different routes each time and I find myself planning a new one each run to collect as much loot as possible instead of sticking to the same old routes

I thought the same as you Andy but that 33% looks a bit odd.
I just shifted an inaccessible bug and it landed on my house!

I'm not overly concerned by it, just an observation as the 33% does seem quite odd. I checked my route in my training plan and I definitely took a straight line between the two as they were only a little apart on a straight section of the same road.

what happens if you squish a bug - do you get points? Likewise if someone squishes one of yours?

You get 100 points for squishing a bug.
The checkpoint % scores can get very distorted if the two are close together. If your Garmin picks up the first as you come into its 80 yard zone, then picks up the second as you're running out of its zone, then it will show as very inefficient because it thinks you ran the distance plus 80 yards plus 80 yards.

Liking the new jump feature as I sometimes run "away". Also that the route name box has been moved off the map when route logging.
Bagged about 8000 points for a 9km cycle, which was only about 1.2 miles from the house at furthest. Yes, I was hoovering :-P. Shuffled eight relays about during it, which must have boosted the points?
