I consider 1000/mile to be good. Got 5000 for 8 miles last night.
Considered a day off today but there are 3 checkpoints just begging to be joined up! Also got 2 traffic lights sourrounded by coins so well worth the fine. No worries about me going over the top with the distance though as the 2 bugs are out in the fields and only costing me 6 points a time so will leave them be for now.

I got 3000 for 7 miles yesterday. Don't think I've ever got 1000 per mile return - certainly not since the bugs got squished after a mile...

waaa! I fell over at home yesterday and landed smack on my knees, spent ages with ice on them and they are soo sore this morning. So I can't go and get those bugs that I missed yesterday. They are just sitting there at the end of my road menacing me with their point sucking ways!

1000 a mile is about par for me - 3 players close by.

That fecking import bug on the garmin just cost me moving 3 bugs!
Rather than succumb to the the site import bug by pausing/unpausing my garmin I stopped it completely at the train line then started a second run for the section after the level - crossing. Sadly that second 'run' never left the mile radius even if the 'whole' 2 runs did.
bastard. I guess I'll have to just leave it running and forget about actually knowing what my actual pace was

DPM, you have my sympathy. I crashed my bike on black ice on Monday and I'm too stiff to train today. Off to look out the walking boots.

if you pause/restart your garmin on a run at 2 points it wont import any points between the 2 restarts. I spotted it a few days ago when I paused/restarted to talk a phone call then paused/restarted for a level crossing. All my route between it was missing.
If you want to confirm, just hit start/stop twice on your garmin, then go up and down a street, then start/stop twice again at the same point and when you import it it wont register you've ever been up that street.

Does your Garmin have the functionality that only counts "moving time"? Auto-pause I think? Or does that have exactly the same impact as a manual pause?
