Gosh - what a lot of posts
I'll do the ones on this page first:
Slowboy - go to the game, then go to the Your Account tab, where you can adjust your home point. I'm trying to sort out some sort of rural help - like maybe wider radii around bugs - but spare a thought for people who live by the sea
Duchess - yes, as per the top of page 38, we just need to give it some time. I've set the bug radius as being one mile, so if you're lucky enough to have a reasonably straight route, it's a 2.XX mile run/walk to shift a bug out of the penalty zone. I thought about other schemes, but chose this one to minimise the amount of running that new runners would need to do. As for scale on the map, I'm working on something that will allow you to see the 80m radius around the markers.
Zeb - a southbound marker keeps its longitude - and just changes latitude - but I can see how that would be problematic. You've made it onto my bug list

TT and Oatcake - just a thought before I go delving into the database. Although I'm sure your routes were well-planned to hit the bugs, did you run out of the one mile radius? This nearly caught out Katie and me this morning. We did a four mile run, but because of all the jinking, we only just crept outside the one mile radius. It's harder than it seems Could that be it?

Oh bother! blush! You have got it! I went in a big circle looping about for bugs in the oddest of meanderings and didn't think if that! Of course! Thanks Fetcheveryone!

I think that was it. 5 bugs moved but the others didn't. Not sure about one because it is the middle of a field and not sure how to measure distance from the road. The other two I am certain I was close enough too. However, the 5 bugs that moved are squished into the little bit over the 1 mile radius that I did run in, so thinking maybe once it is full of bugs no more can move there. Would that be how it works?

thanks Fetch. Will leave my northbound relay alone for the moment otherwise that one runs the risk of getting stranded as well.

As someone previously posted about running bugs out, I thought I should have picked up three on my run today but only the first one was deposited outside the area,1.3 miles according to the log so I was well outside.

Um, how come I have -125 points now, when I only had -59 this morning. I haven't run yet, so why am I collecting any points, let alone minus ones? Please point me to a page where this is answered if I missed it.

bugs in your mile circle give you negative points.
