Uncruliar: It normally takes a few minutes only. If it has been hours i'd check your route to see if you actually hit any markers. If you are sure you did then take a look a the 5 steps in the header of this thread.
Eastham75: Yes you can log them manually.

I had to log today's little bimble manually as I'm away from home and can't upload from the Garmin until January. My first post lurgy 'run'. Just a short one but planned specifically to hoover up as many coins as possible to offset the penalties I'm losing in bugs that are now 140 plus miles away from me.
I'm not faffing about moving my home point though!

Pabsey - you can get better than 100% because you only have to clip the edge of the 80m zone around the checkpoint for it to register, but the efficiency is measured from checkpoint to checkpoint. 1% can also be valid, I presume, if you hit the check point then ran round the houses a few times before getting to the second one.

Loving this game at the moment. HAving struggled to motivate myself out of the door over the last couple of months, I've now run 4 days on the trot. Whereas I would normally head out with the intention of doing 6-8 miles and give up after 3, this time I'm heading out for 3 miles and end up doing 6!
Is there a way of telling where other players are on the map? As far as I can tell, there is nobody else within 10 miles of me at least.

On the Your Account page, on the left hand side there is a black box with You are my Density - that tells you how many players are within 2 ? miles of you. Otherwise look on the map for blue triangles and up opened Christmas presents - they will give you an idea of where nearby players are.

Run safe everyone in the dark, whilst looking for coins and bugs. Had a 'glancing blow' from a car this evening - no damage done (to me), saw him coming, took evasive action, which may have left an impression of my right hand and front door key on his bonnet. Doesn't matter how much reflective stuff you wear - if the drivers are looking in the other direction...he might remember to check next time.

Thanks BB - but to be honest I've experienced worst drivers whilst out on the bike
