Zoom in on the map where you'll be running though, you might find some. I did a run a couple of weeks ago that scored me 0 as there were no markers and I was doing intervals so running in a confined area. Every other run has scored me points and I rarely run near home.

Or have you run through lots of traffic lights? Bugs lose you points daily if they're in your home circle. Traffic lights and some randoms lose you points too. I guess you've also run somewhere with not many coins to collect.
