I saw Meglet kissing Santa Claus
My Internet at home is not working so I can't upload today's run :(
I went near a garmin marker too, tho not sure if it was near enough.

Loving the sound of the new icons especially cake and coiny pollen, which might encourage me to run from work. If I run once a week with the club will the coiny pollen still be there the next week?

I too think the new markers will be good; thanks Fetch. Wonder if the map might become a bit overcrowded, but very happy to wait and see. Still thinking that we should be able to move bugs further before they get squished, but accept the point that the game is still in early development and that we need to see how everything works together rather than focus on one particular element.

Regarding blank maps. You get this if you click on a squished bug. Probably because the bug isnt there anymore.

Looking around where I'm planning to run tomorrow, I see the streets of London are, in terms of this game, quite literally paved with gold. But the places I fancy running in, such as the Thames Path, have been stripped of their markers, like a fruit-tree that's been ravaged by parakeets.

Fair enough, and I understand the rules, but I don't feel as if I should have to make a choice between running in ever-decreasing circles around the streets of Hounslow to gain a million points and somewhere I actually want to run, such as along the River.

What do real Londoners think?

Chris - I'm not a Londoner, but I think you should run where you like. This game is about a fun way to motivate people to run, but as you're going to run anyway, just carry on.

'If you want to run up a mountain there is no point collecting mushrooms in the Forrest. But if you want mushroom soup, then the mountain must wait.' Wise words from from one of the Care Bears movies I think.
