I've gone at Fetchpoint like a mad thing a few times - once at the start to get all the easy badges, then to get 25000 and 50000, and to get eL Bee! to 10000 and then up to 50000. But that level of focus is unsustainable and mostly I just let it run in the background and get my bug if it's practical to do so.

I tend to let fetchpoint run in the background, using it on occasion to plan a route...like today. Decided I could squish all my bugs in the one run. Set off, got to the top of the hill and noticed the new crossing that has been installed. Thought it would be a good place to cross the road even though its not in use yet. Carried on. After about 2 miles I realised I hadn't gone down the cul-de-sac where one of my buts was lurking. To have done so, I shouldn't have crossed the road when I did.

At the moment I'm doing fairly well because eL Bee!'s circle is in almost the same position as mine but most of his activity is either inside the circle or a long way outside so I've got some big flowerbeds within a few miles of home.

I’ve noticed recently that sometimes I get too many points for planting flowers. For example today I ran around some playing fields, which are a regular route of mine and planted 2 new flowers. But, I scored 6 points for planting flowers today. I think the game is giving me extra points for “planting flowers” where one already exists. Anyone else noticed this before?

I think you get flower points if you “should” have planted a flower, but if there’s already one there then the game can’t actually place one.
