Cackers - you'll be getting one new bug each day. Of course, if there are other players that intersect your home circle, you'll be picking up some of theirs too.
I think next month we will start with fewer bugs, as it does seem to have freaked a few people out to lose their points so quickly. Instead of a big wallop, I'll make it so there's more than one added each day. Same overall effect, but just a bit kinder

Hmm, I bet they will be at opposite sides of the circle

Fetch, could you make it a random number of added bugs, but averaged over time? So you might get one every day for a week or, 2 on Monday then 5 on Thursday.
This may be personal but I really dislike getting new bugs every day; it depresses me that they "breed" while I can't get to them (it's good to have days off every now and then ). If it *must* be regular, could I have more bugs but on alternate days?
And fewer system owned traffic lights to start with as well? They could breed during the month as well...

Somebody got the garmin marker I was going to make a detour for so I decided just to run my usual route home and not worry about it.
Picked up 2 markers by accident.
Glass at least two thirds full, I'd say.

Not been reading this thread, but liking Fetch's post at the top there - currently semi-injured, and it's just plain depressing that all points are lost immediately due to the vast amount of bugs...

Dear Lord Fetch. I admire your patience. This game must be like managing cats in a sack.

I love it, it is getting me out the door more regularly and I've been down roads I've never been down before, I know some new shortcuts now

Battlecat - short cuts are a bad thing - you should be going the long way round for improved training!

I got a very funny look from a chap in his front garden the other night as I ran down a cul-de-sac and just followed the pavement around to run back outagain. He looked even more confused when I cheerfully told him "I'm just hoovering bugs!"
