As I wrote in my blog today, I think it is impossible for runners and walkers to reach 50k since they can't cover as much ground as cyclists. My experience shows that to be true since I only got to 50k because I am temporarily not running which has allowed me to to more cycling. For you to get 20k from just running is an excellent effort and result.
