Claire - if I took the bugs home in the evening I'd be stung for a load of points the next lunchtime! Once I'd got my head around the fact that it didn't matter when in the run I picked up the bugs as long as I'd gone over the mile limit I found it far easier to shift them. Yesterday I moved 9 but only collected 5 before I got to the mile (although I'd actually run over 3 by then)

I am only getting points by walking at the moment as not running. Hopefully once I start running I can grab some more points and move all the little bugs away further. doesnt help that I am surrounded by fields and most of the coins are all in the middle of fields that I cant get in.

All the bugs I dumped on McGoohan's doorstep a few days ago I've picked up today and moved to outside mile 2, gaining almost 100 points for each one. Tomorrow I can drag them a couple of miles further in the same direction, to outside ring four which should be worth around 3200 points.

Don't know about winning a Garmin. But I may need a new bike !
I went off road to get a few bugs and wrecked my rear mech. :-(

I’ve just logged a lunchtime walk and realised that I’ve inadvertently stolen someone else’s Garmin marker for today. Apologies if your home zone is in central Edinburgh, I didn’t even look at the route before I uploaded it so it wasn’t intentional, feel free to come to South Edinburgh and nick one of mine in return.
