I picked up an absolute beauty of a central London traffic light the week before lockdown started. I didn’t get a single fee and it lapsed at the end of the week

@ Badger, I think it's totally fair to mark bugs inaccessible if you don't feel safe running along a particular road/path at the mo.

[I mark bugs as inaccessible if they pop up on any of the local rat-runs - which aren't as busy these days but still don't feel safe to run along]

Previously, I would not have suggested marking things inaccessible that are actually accessible. However, Fetch has fairly recently changed things so that anyone running through a spot previously marked as inaccessible makes it available again, so there's no harm. Mind you, if there are other players in the area, they may undo your reports by running through those spots themselves

This issue first came up a few weeks ago. Consensus among those who commented at the time - including Fetch himself - was that it's perfectly reasonable to mark as inaccessible somewhere you don't feel safe going in the current climate - even if that somewhere is a place you'd normally be happy to go.
Once 'all this is over' you can make those areas accessible again simply by running through them.

Agree completely. If it’s not safe then it’s inaccessible.

Good points. Time I did some culling, then. It says something that none of the bugs I'm talking about have been infected...

I forget, if you move your home point do the diamonds etc move around to different spots?(I would move my home point but it took several attempts a few days ago to find right spot).

No, only the bugs move with the circle

Making areas accessible by running through doesn't always apply - I have two army barracks in my circle which I've marked inaccessible, however a squaddie on Fetch could run through but it would likely get me shot
