Bob!
cpea the game doesn't rest at all. Your score is based on the last 31 days. You should get a notification (or email, I can't remember which) about your Easter Egg. Follow the link.

Hey Bob, cheers! No info on Easter Eggs. I think the problem is that I've been in negative equity since the game began so my 'top score' has stayed at 0....I'd like to see if my best score is -2048!! Baited breath on Easter Egg info popping up somewhere! I saw another one - but I've walked 12 miles today (done my back in so not even a jog is possible) and I can't do it again LOL!

Wondering if we're going to get the "unreachable" area amnesty that was suggested a while back?
The new version of the game picked up on where I'd marked bugs as out of bounds over the last couple of years, but some of my marks were because paths were temporarily un-passable (nettles/flooding/travellers etc) and now I could get down them but there are no markers in the area.

I don't remember anything about an amnesty, but what might be useful would be to have a limit on 'inaccessibility' - areas could become available again after a set time, maybe 30 days.
That way there would be no need for the database to hold an ever-increasing number of inaccessible locations, and places which were only temporarily inaccessible - closed footpaths or building sites for instance - would become available again

Bob!
Noooooo!!
I'm still marking areas as inaccessible (fields, estuary etc.) from the start of the game, if all of these ran out after 30 days then I would never finish the task.
Either they are inaccessible or not.
The areas I've marked as inaccessible are not.

Not a fan of the 30 day idea either as I've also spent a fair bit of time marking inaccessible markers. There's a lot of private farm land around me so a good chunk of my mile area is inaccessible and is likely to remain that way.
However I think some sort of mechanism for making previously inaccessible areas accessible again would be a good idea. There are areas that are currently inaccessible that I know will be accessible at some point in the future, e.g. building sites that will become housing estates.
I'm not sure how well it could work but could it be set so that logging a run through a previously inaccessible point would mark it as accessible again?

That's a clever idea H8 - my mile circle sounds very similar, quite a bit of farmland, a disused coal mine and a golf course - but also a number of building sites that will be housing estates in due course.

That would be good if it could be done H8 big chunks of my area are fields - sometimes I can get around the edges and sometimes I can't - and sometimes I can trespass straight through the middle Sometimes permissive paths are closed, which I used to mark as inaccessible to get the bug to respawn - but now the game remembers I don't want to.

I'm also in the middle of an area that will have accesible estates but currently has inaccesible fields etc so like the above three posts, I'm marking areas that might be available at a later date.
