S'funny, I guess I'm not taking my racing so seriously these days, but the other week when I was racing on the Bentley bypass I had a look at the Conquercise map before I left to see how many zones I could conquer on my warm-up ride! (No Fetchies live there so there were no Fetchpoint markers to snap up)

I'm marking as inaccessible if it's 'not normal' to be able to get to the place. eg I know the local college grounds are ran through by some people around here, but the gate is clearly mark private property. Also, the golf course is kind of accessible, especially if you are a member, but I don't intend to dash across a fairway to get a marker. Hope that's o.k.

We have public footpaths on the nearby golf course, so those are ok, but I'm not advocating running down the fairways

I marked one as inaccessible which technically was reachable but would have involved a fair trek through a dead end industrial estate with only one way in/out and not on a route that anyone would sensibly run.
On the other hand, if I get something which is accessible by runners but not by cyclists (or at least not legally, or not on a road bike) I leave it where it is.

Running into a dead end and then turning around to run back out again is what it's all about

I don't mind shortish ones, but this one was a bit excessive!

I've had a few looks from people when I've run into cul-de-sacs and back out.

How does the new game play with your home location? My home location is my work office and I have just done 5 days in the office after a month out. On Monday I cleared all the bugs in one long zig-zag run and got 200 bonus points. Tuesday through today I got one new bug and cleared that bug each day, so will have 5 loads of 200 bonus points.
I now have 3 days at home, so won't clear the office location until Tuesday. If I moved my home location to my real home, I could clear it each of the next 3 days, and then move it back.
Will this work, is it fair, is it bending the rules or playing the game?

I've not been a huge fan of the new setup so far but did have a good session today bug hunting. Made for quite a fun lunchtime session as had to scoot round getting the bugs, get out of the circle and back to my desk in an hour. Did a mile more than usual with a bit of a fartlek vibe as I was cutting it fine with time.
As said by many others it really is now about the bugs - especially in central London where out of towners steal all the gems and infect your bugs

Speaking of which, would it be possible to have anti-bugs? If other people run over them they get points like infecting bugs but the owner can only pick them? Creates a similar effect to bugs but means fewer people will be in the red.
