Teknik, good point about the traffic lights, better before that they count down and could then be reclaimed by someone else.

Conversely, if you go on holiday or fail to run over the light for a week, someone else can pinch it.

Also concur re marking inaccessible areas. For example there are some areas in my patch which are definitely no go (some fields with no paths etc), but which I suspect will end up being housing estates in a couple of years.

I think the old method of moving a bug closer if marked (or doubling the penalty in the new game say) is better.

Also I cannot see how the server will keep up with loads of areas marked as inaccessible, would be more data in the end than the number of markers in the system at any one point.

I carried 44 relays on my 18 mile ride this morning. I don't remember seeing that many on the map last night.

Yesterday I cleared out all my bugs and got the 200 point bonus overnight. This morning I expected to see that a new one had popped up, but there's nothing. Is this a bug bug or have I missed something?

We are never going to agree on what is fair or not fair in this game as we all have different situations.

For me, bug penalties are going to be my biggest nightmare as, at best, I get to run from home once a week with the opportunity of leaving my home circle. Most of my points will probably come from planting and picking flowers, but even that will be limited as 2 of my weekly runs are with the club and at least one other club member plays this game too. My other run tends to be parkrun so again, not much opportunity for watering! My dog walks only pick up a couple of jewels which don't improve my score by much.

However, I am not complaining at the changes in the rules. I don't ever expect to be at the top of the leader board, but I have the challenge of trying to top my "best ever" score - which at the moment stands at zero!

I am a lone player, who lives on the outskirts in the countryside, surrounded by fields with grumpy farmers.

Am liking the fact that inaccessible items don't reappear. The dog is enjoying the different walks. I do get the occasional person running through my circle but get most of my points when I have been out on the bike.

MzG I don't think you carried 44 relays on your ride today but your gained 44 points by moving a relay 11 miles (11x4). Your relay 'earn' total today is 1352 and I believe it was just below the 1300 figure last a total movement of about 60 if you had moved 44 relays on average by 10 miles then your points total would have gone up by 44*10*4 = 1760. With regards to the other mass relay points you gained there appears to be a corresponding jump by MorningRunner81 in the relay carry column (there will always be an equal amount somewhere in the Carry and Earn columns when a relay is moved) so with such a large number this is easy to spot so I doubt it was caused by a number of fetchies passing over the same spot.

WV I had the same thing happen no bugs this morning plus no new coins appeared either in my circle

One thing I liked about the old version was that if you clicked on a marker on the map, the circle stayed displayed. So I could click all the bugs, have all their circles displayed and then plot a route.

Now you can only display one circle at a time, each one vanishes when you click on the next marker.
