In the early days I tried putting a few post boxes on my bit of map. It just cluttered everything up for no good reason so I got rid of them. The bridges are a different kettle of fish, as are the tea rooms.

I quite like the post boxes - I've used that bit of the map when I genuinely needed a post box before now!

Harsh! ;-) I planned a long Sunday loop from Maidenhead to Windsor and back taking in a few local attractions such as the rowing lake a Dorney and then did a two local modifications as there were flower rich areas alongside my planned route. Yes, coincidentally, they were both your patches but I am not flowerist and will happily pick flowers from anyone. The vast majority of my flowers are harvested within hours of planting as I run in busy areas: I'd love it if I could "own" some flowers and get them to 6 weeks but I fear it won't ever happen.

PMJ, I run in the arse end of nowhere and often my flowers reach 6 weeks. Although, many a 5 mile run only gets about 10,00 points as the week progress despite filling up 'my account' page with 'Ted watered...' on a regular basis.

It's nice to get 50K worth of points for no reason after 6 weeks. Running in my home circle can be a bountiful harvest but, not during the hours of Winterness. Way too life limiting.

Each has its pro's and cons. :)

PMJ - you'll be down my way for a lunchtime run soon I reckon (parking up and not inviting me, of course)!

Thin pickings there, may have to stop off at HA4 0AU on the way home one night and harvest from frankdoyle2730
