Is it very wrong that when I see an FB status placing a Fetchie at a particular location, my first thought is "damn it's the weekend and I've got two traffic lights almost next door" ?

I keep moving relays 0 miles: surely that can't be right?

It might just be a rounding down thing. Or a problem with the code. I forget which :-)

They seem to be diagonal ones, if that helps :-)

Apologies for not reading the whole thread, but it's huuuuge. This may have been asked before...

For Christmas I'll be at my parents' house for 2 weeks. Should I change my 'home' location then? There are no coins at all in that area. Not that I'll be running much as it's my 2 week 'rest' before marathon training.

Also, what happens to my traffic lights when I'm away? Clearly I won't be running through them, so do I lose them?

change home location? - depends: if you're planning on running at your folks place then yes - best to change the day before so that you get some coins to hoover up. If you're not planning on running there then maybe yes as you'll avoid any bug penalties, but maybe no as you'll build up a nice deposit of coins at home - ok other Fetchies might get some of them, but they're unlikely to get all of them.

traffic lights - you'll lose them after 7 days, but only if another Fetchie runs through them after the 7 days is up.

Has anyone else tried logging a route as a walking route? I've tried this a couple of times, as I've walked the dogs passed a couple of markers, but the markers haven't shown as being collected.

i think i'm the only fetchie playing this in my town!

on the plus side - plenty of money for me to collect :-)

on the minus - it's seems a bit pointless when i've bought some traffic lights and i'm the only one going through them!

Betty, I did that yesterday and it worked very well - picked up coins, moved relays and shifted bugs. But I did it with a Garmin tracked route, rather than plotting manually.
