I was just about to say the same , its a shame there aren't different leaderboards or even game categories for runners and riders ..... people who only run have no chance what so ever of getting anywhere on the leaderboards
Although I did plant a load of flowers over the weekend whilst away in the lakes and they were picked today

I have to say I love the flowers, first- it makes the map prettier, and secondly even though their not real, it feels like your giving a gift to a fellow fetchie
maybe different leaderboards would be a good idea, but It could get v. complicated: what about runners who cycle or cyclists who run, what do they call themselves: oh yeah triathletes. It could get v.messy.
I do cycle not very often though, took it up when I couldn't run due to an injury. I hoped it would help maintain my fitness levels. I much prefer running, so once I recovered the bike enjoys a mostly solitary life in the garage.

I view the leaderboard as a relative achievement. You can set your own goals. Mine was at first to break into the overall top 600, which I did, then the top 500, then the top 400, and so on. Since the last scoring change it's been to get into the 2014 top 300 and stay there (I've gone in and out and am currently just outside after a poor month). As I would have no chance of getting anywhere near the top of the leaderboard even if it was just runners only, I don't mind the fact that there are cyclists above me.

I'm with you Spleen. You can set your own personal targets within the Leaderboards.

Being an old hand (I've been on fetch a year now), I've seen the issue of cyclists having an advantage over runners at least 4 times now. Fetch has always said it would be too difficult to separate them, because of course some people do both.... and people can always change the activity of an... errrr.... activity.... after they've uploaded it.
Here's a thought: in conquercise, though, the leaderboards show what % of people's miles (or zones) have been run or cycled. We could petition fetch to implement something similar in fetchpoint... then at least you could see....
Is it only me, or is fetchpoint the premier game on fetch?? Or is it just the most recent?

oooh I just got 10000 points - going over a random just a 10k+ circular route , didn't even know there was that marker along on it
Lovely planted some flowers too
I've been on fetch for coming up to 10 years, but only just got 21st century with my equipment (android phone) so I'm new to both this game and conquercise..
back in the day I only remember fetch betting and trumps as the games !! Lord fetch or other fetchies will put me right about any others that were on the go I'm sure

Bicycles eh? I logged a bike ride once, but when I saw how much it inflated my Fetchpoint score I thought it was cheating a bit and haven't bothered since!
