Okay - is a shame though!

I never benefited from a flower glitch, and although the points awarded at that time were much lower than now, I did better in respect to other players under the old rules. That's the selfish part of me - I did better on it, however I do also think keeping up a consistent period of training over a long time is something to be encouraged.

Thanks for linking to Fetch's post - I had missed it.

mx - yes, it is for now. But come 2015, an All Time Leaderboard which started from 1st Jan 2014 would be adding new information.

Sometimes we need to remember it's only a game. One I'm playing very badly at the moment, on account of not running, on account of being injured.

That might be useful but it's not 'all time' it's the since 1/1/14 leader board.

Remember it's only a game - no game is ever only a game :)

Perhaps you stepped on them hard enough to kill them off ;-)

maybe you'd already watered them previously on the same day (UK time) - beware of time zones

also you can't water on the same day that they were planted

I'd quite like to see how my points per mile compares to other people's. I have no hope of reaching the dizzy points heights of people who ride long distances and / or regularly run high mileage but it would be interesting to see how my average "yield" compares with others.

At the moment I lose about 10% of my points each day through buggage :-(

Sallykate: That would be interesting. Although the entire point of the game is to get you out of the door, so if someone went on one run at the end of the month when the tokens are at their densest, that would be mega-efficient but missing the point a bit...

My own yield is just over 6,000 points per mile this month.
