thanks guys for your advice. I'll move the bugs that are unreachable with a clear conscience. I does seem to me that the bike riders have a distinct advantage of the runners......they can cover so much more ground

Footpad ran a 202% efficient checkpoint route
Now I am liking that percentage rating!! Of course space is curved so I found a wormhole and ran through it! Maybe there is a more mundane reason but I like my flagrant disobedience of spacetime better.

Sioux - each to their own :). I have looked at FIRST, but its big downside as far as I'm concerned is that it limits your running to 3x per week, and I LOVE to run. I'd run every day if my body (and husband!) would let me. As it is, I run 4x per week and do 2 strength sessions in the gym, and 1 rest day. I want to stay healthy so I can run.
I love, I love, I love running.....

Doc Moye - on the flip side with cycling (when I actually bother to do some!!) I don't go up and down all the side roads to clear bugs, and I mostly cycle in zones where no one lives so there are no coins to collect, only flowers to plant or pick. It's swings and roundabouts.

I love running to RevB but I love Tri too.
FIRST works well for me because of that!
Means I can target both running and tri events.
Also I get injured less if I restrict my running to 3 times a week. Fotunately, though, everyone's diff and it's finding what suits you that matters most.

kwala.......I tend to get more of my points from flowers than anything, I've become a little strange running along with the dog talking about watering flowers with her! There is something sociable about running where you know someone else might pick your flowers!!

Sioux - I enjoy swimming, but don't have a pool nearby (min 20 mins drive). I quite enjoy biking, but obviously not as much as running! I've only gradually worked up to running four times a week - started with just 1, then 2, then 3, now 4.
I'm probably going to keep it at 4. My knees have held up so far. My ankle injury was an accident (unfortunate foot placing), and I don't think running frequency was anything to do with it. But I don't want to push my luck. Plus, I find that I'm tired after running 2 days in a row. I still work hard in the gym, but it tires me in different ways.

Fingers crossed I'll have some exciting Fetchpoint news to share within the next couple of weeks. Think new markers, a theme, and a quest
