Badger and Mick173 yes I am sure this is my problem. As it is taking too long and does not even need watch . However I am windows 7 and I cannot find the files in my documents only the folders i have created. Any clues on how to find it in windows 7 I really need to clean it up as it slows the computor up totally.

I was able to upload my 6m run today I just selected it but it is the Lake District ones on Sat and Sun that are the problem and they remain there

Perhaps you've got too much stuff on your watch. I deleted everything from mine this morning and my lunchtime ride absoultely flew onto the Fetch this afternoon!

Deleting stuff off the watch might speed up its sync with the computer, but it won't make the transfer to Fetch any better for one of the wireless watches, because this depends on the amount of fit files already stored on the computer. (If you have to connect your watch with a USB cable to transfer data, then it will work faster if you delete runs off the watch - 305, 210 and so on).

Lak, I have a Windows 7 PC and the files are in:
C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Devices\3851129734\Activities as .fit files and

C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Devices\3851129734\History as .tcx files
You'll need to set Windows to show hidden folders before you can see them, which is possibly why you can't find them.
This link will help you with that:
windows.microsoft.com
When you can see them, move all the .fit and .tcx files which are older than, say, a month into another folder in your home folder to back them up, and try your upload again.

It's about 70 miles south east of la Rochelle. I can't find any Fetchie traces nearby, Fetchpoint, Conquercise or routes.

I'd expect to get 10 runs in while I'm there for about 75 miles if I don't just let things slide. With it coming up to the second half of the month I can't bear the thought of all the bugs accumulating at home.

Moleshome If you can't bear the bugs multiply than you've got to move for your holiday :-)

Little Nemo - slightly broken
Fetchpoint dilemma. I'm on holiday for a week and I'll probably do a couple of runs and a couple of walks while I'm there. Is it worth moving my home point? Or would I be better off just getting flower points? I won't do a lot of mileage so I'm undecided!!!

Difficult LN - how free will you be I knew I would have to be social and would have done better points wise if I had been antisocial and done my own thing as it is I picked some of El Bees flowers ( by all accounts an awesome flower planter on bike ) and also had some great hikes across the fellls. If I had changed my home I would have had trouble dragging people up and down all the roads and alleys to get the points!
