I got lost on the Pages Park estate so only collected a third of the flowers I was aiming for, but Wobbling has a nice bonus tonight

flowers- you get 250 points for planting them but only get points again if someone else picks them is that right. If there is no one else then there is no point in repeatedly watering is that right?
At one stage they were harvested at 6 weeks but that does not seem to happen. I have major problems rurual area and one road in is blocked by railtrack for the next 3 mths along with 4 public rights of way so all I can do is run the same route except when I go away. Dont see how flower rules help people who are truly rural. Sometimes I cycle to nearest town but need to go via closed cycle route so thats hard hate rail track.

OMG just found out they are wanting to put a gas main through to supply a power station not the village (never ever any benefit) which will result in even more restrictions while work is conducted.

No, they definitely still get harvested, though there are rules about how often you water them to get a harvest, and a limit on the number of points you can get (5000 per day in total, going by what I've picked up). I have wondered if that's a bit unreliable, though; I have a route at work I run about once a week where it's rare for anyone else to pick the flowers, but I'm pretty sure I don't get harvests as often as once a week.

The value of flowers increase by between 500 and 1000 everytime they are watered up to a max flower value of 5000. Once a flower reaches this value you can still water them and gain the 100 points for 'watering' but there is no increase in the flower value. The flowers are harvested at the end of 6 weeks and you gain the flower value, however the flowers have to be watered at least once to get to the 6 weeks and this must be done between day 15 and day 28 of planting. If you water only once then if this is done before day 15 then the flowers will died before 6 weeks due to the 28 day watering rule and if you expect to water for the first time on day 29 then the plant will have gone, again due to the 28 day rule. Definitely being harvested here - as predicted. Looking forward to a 100,000 of picking one morning this month If the 15-28 days thing above seemed a bit complicated you just need to remember that if you don't water for 4 weeks a flower will die = no points

I was wondering about the flower thing cos you're not really explained it in the rules. Think I should have watered a few today whilst on my bike ride - probably only planted millions I'm never going to be able to water or pick - never mind. These flower rules might sink in eventually to my one brain cell - maybe next year, eh.

you always get 100 points every time you water a flower - so even if a flower does not get picked, you've still got some points from watering it.

Thankls very much
Summary 250 for planting
100 for watering- is that shown a s gold coins collection rather than watering I dont recall seeing watering points in account.
Water at least day 15 to day 28 after planting value randomly increased by 500 to 1000 and up to 5000.
Harvest at end of 6 weeks provided watered day 15 to 28.
