Trouble is I do a different route every time for Fetchpointing, depending on where the bugs/coins are - so I have to create a new one each time on here.
Riding with my phone & using Garmin Fit to get a GPX file worked yesterday but I'm not going to run with my phone.

micki173 - there's a dire warning about moving your home point being logged and not to do it for tactical reasons..... presumably Lord Fetch likes holidays and considers that a reasonable course of ac tion ! Not sure how much running I will get to do on my next trip, which is to Israel & the West Bank. I will take some running gear, but need to take advice about how acceptable an overweight western woman clad in Lycra would be to local sensibilities. Plus there's the fact I'm there to lead a pilgrimage, and the days are pretty packed as it is.

I think lord fetch allows holiday moves but I know of one person who has their 'home' base at work where they are within other Fetchies home bases in order to leave they actual home clear. This means they can plant flowers within the 1 mile circle of their actual home which can add a lot of points onto their total over the year. Anyway hope you have a good time in Israel and the West bank remain safe in the present 'climate' out there.

Hi VJ Over the last few weeks I've been looking at how I compare in training terms with others and it's amazing what I have found when I've got a few moments I'll add a few comments to the thread on what I've uncovered.

RevBB - who says you have to run to gain Fetchpoints? Record your Pilgrimage tours and book them as crosstraining-walking. I'm sure you'll deserve the points. Have a safe trip.

I didn't move my home point last time I went on holiday for more than a few days but that was before Fetchpoint existed. I'm not sure I'll have lots of options of where to run while away but it might be easier to get the bugs squished rather than left them proliferate in Bucks.

Ah, good point, Shortcut! I did record all the walks to and from our chalet at Centerparcs last week, and planted/watered many flowers in the process.
I also succeeded in picking several flowers during my race at Clumber Park, as well as planting 12, of course. The ideal would have been to have had a Fetchpoint player running ahead of me, but that doesn't seem to have been the case. Not sure when I'll get there again to water them.... I don't think I could find the route! But if anyone fancies a nice place to run, Clumber Park is LOVELY - do go and explore all those trails, especially South of the lake

Rbg, you may steal my one remianing conquercise zone in Jerusalem, claimed by running around the outside of the walls one evening. The rest of the pilgrimage was too packed so I didn't get the time to run, and the places weren't always suitable. I covered up completely, and ran in daylight, and found that, yes, it was very unusual, but no-one was 'anti'. Several women in Isalmic dress smiled encouragingly at me. (The tour guide wasn't keen, but only because it didn't fit his idea of women in ministry)
